Rockstar launches a new subscription service: GTA +

Rockstar has found a new way to take advantage of GTA players: GTA +† The game company offers a subscription to GTA Online for $5.99 per month.

As a GTA+ member, you will get $500,000 USD deposited into your virtual bank account every month. You will also have “free” access to the in-game LS Car Meet gallery, your yacht will be upgraded to an Aquarius Super Yacht, you will earn extra RP points, two shirts and a pair of pants will be added to your wardrobe. As a boot on the cake, members have the option to purchase special Shark cards from the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store (which convert your real money into in-game coins).

Rockstar has been heavily criticized for its GTA franchise in recent years. For example, another GTA V remaster released last week for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S and the GTA Trilogy remaster from November last year was very poorly received.

The GTA+ subscription will be available on PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store starting the next day tomorrow (March 29). It appears that only Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S users can subscribe.
