Queen Máxima is also wearing the latest shoe trends at the moment

Queen Máxima and King Willem-Alexander were on a regional visit to the Gelders Valley. On their first joint “outing” after the summer vacation, Queen Máxima wore a pair of fashionable shoes. While out walking, she swapped her Nathan’s high-heeled shoes for a more comfortable pair, meaning the queen is keeping up with the latest fashion trends.

Queen Máxima’s clothes were not new during the regional visit. We recognize Natan’s bright green design from King’s Day 2023, just like the shoes from the same fashion house. This week she wore the green ensemble with a raincoat to protect herself from the rain. Our eyes were particularly focused on the pair of shoes that the Queen wore specifically for the rainy outing. Because we didn’t see that coming!

Queen Máxima also loves the ballerina trend

Ballet dancers have become popular in the fashion world. They were one of the biggest shoe trends last summer, and we expect to continue wearing them into the fall. Even Queen Máxima (re)discovered the ballerina and chose a metallic pair for her cul-de-sac.

Our queen is not the only one who has chosen this color, because metallic ballerinas and Mary Janes are sold almost everywhere. However we found a similar version in Bijenkorf. Including a beautiful belt at the feet.
