This included proposals for cooperation with GroenLinks and negotiations with VVD, D66 and CDA on forming a new government. A no-judgment motion with Mark Rutte’s VVD did not come to a vote because it was dropped by another motion.

Then Paul Gruen wrote on Twitter: “Always laugh with PvdA. Google PvdA membership number, get a code, vote! I’m not a member.”

Party board spokesman Wauter Puig confirmed that this person had received a voting symbol. No “control questions” were asked of this person. “It should have been. We are of course now checking all required voting codes. So far this is the only one.”

Several members in the room expressed confusion about the situation.
