Onstage attack leaves scars on artists: Robbie Williams in tears, Moon splits skirts | Displays

Artists need better stage security. This call got a lot of support on social media after pop stars Bebe Rexha and Ava Max were attacked at a show shortly after each other. For the fans involved, it was just a bit of a bitch, but Robbie Williams really showed in 2001 just how badly the artist struggled with it.

Photos of singers Bebe Rexha (33) and Ava Max (29) have circulated around the world in recent days. Rexha had to be taken away on Sunday after a phone was thrown in her face during a concert in New York. Max was punched in the face by a man who came on stage at a show in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Nicholas Malvegna, 27, of New Jersey, is suspected of throwing the phone at Rexha. He said he did it on purpose because he thought it would be “funny,” according to local authorities. Rumor has it that the man who attacked Ava Max is an obsessed fan who had no intention of hitting her. Looks like he took his chance to get close to her. Both singers said they were fine, but behind the scenes it might be different.

‘really scared’

Robbie Williams was thrown off stage at a concert in Stuttgart in 2001 by a confused man who was convinced there was a fake Williams on stage. The singer did not see the man coming and fell forward about 1.5 metres. Apart from a few minor injuries, the artist was doing well and reassuring his fans and band. But once the tears disappeared from view, because he was not feeling well mentally.

Watch the moment Robbie Williams was pushed, read below:

..everything passes you by: is that it? silly He deserves? Williams said shortly after the accident in the documentary Nobody ever (2002). “He could have had a knife with him, he could have had anything. I don’t want to pity myself too much, but I’m really scared,” said Williams, who was already mentally struggling at the time. Not only tonight, most of the day I am real silly anxiety.”

“hands where they don’t belong”

International stars like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine were also harassed on stage. Levine described it as “absolutely terrifying”. Incidents like these make the news because fans are filming them, but the misconduct isn’t always visible.

Singer Maan de Steenwinkel (26) previously admitted that she rarely wears a skirt on stage after unpleasant experiences at her concerts. The singer loves to jump into the audience at performances and then not everyone knows how to behave. “I felt hands where they definitely didn’t belong,” she said.

It has been reported that the man who hit singer Bebe Rexha with his phone has been charged with multiple assault charges BBC News. He is scheduled to appear in court next week.
