OnePlus shows first teaser for the OnePlus Open foldable device and confirms release date – Tablets & Phones – News

OnePlus has shared the first teaser image of its OnePlus Open foldable phone. The manufacturer also confirms that the phone will be released on October 19.

The teaser image, that OnePlus across the edge, showing half of the phone with the alert slider at the bottom. This makes it possible to switch between silent, vibration and sound modes. The image also confirms the October 19th release date. At 4pm that day, the first OnePlus foldable phone will be officially unveiled.

Previously shared WinFuture is already in place on that date, including some renderings and specifications. The phone will have a 7.8-inch OLED display on the inside and a 6.31-inch display on the outside. It is also reported that the phone will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and up to 16GB of Lpddr5X RAM. Furthermore, a 48-megapixel main camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 64-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom are mentioned. The OnePlus Open will cost around $1,700 in the US. The manufacturer has not yet confirmed the specifications and price. The OPPO Find N3, which is the exact same device as the OnePlus, will be released around the same time for the Asian market.
