Ohio State remains perfect, and UCLA takes on Colorado State

It’s the time of year when the top teams are on edge as the season can change so radically with just one result, and it didn’t take long for Saturday to produce a big result. No. 6 Oklahoma’s unbeaten season came to an end, as unranked Kansas took down the Sooners for the first time since 1997.

The two highly ranked teams that avoided disaster were the No. 10 Penn State team that survived against Indiana and the No. 5 Washington team that survived against Stanford, proving that upsets can show up where we least expect them. Elsewhere, Oregon made a big statement with a 35-6 win over Utah and No. 1 Georgia took care of business against Florida.

We’ll be waiting for more surprises as well as providing updates on the day’s big showdowns.
