What are exclusive versus non-exclusive franchise marks?
Exclusive labels This means that the contract must not be less than the average of the five highest salaries at that player’s position or 120% of the player’s salary in the previous season, whichever is greater. This also means that the player is not allowed to negotiate with other teams and may not sign with another team if the offer is rejected.
