The musical version of miss sack Coming to Dutch theaters at the end of 2023. The performance, which is based on the book series of the same name, will be touring the Netherlands from January 14th. Actor Merijn Oerlemans will play the title role. Theater company STENT Productions reported this on Friday.
Music called Miss Case is in camp, just like the second installment in the movie series. Teacher Kiss goes on a camp to the sand dunes with his class. Rectrix Dreus wants it to be an educational week and thus gives Kees a complete plan of action.
In recent years, Oerlemans has appeared in youth musicals such as Crusade in jeansAnd King of Kathryn And William Jr. The show had been announced earlier, but the tour was pushed back for a season. It’s not yet certain if Mylene D’Anjou, who was previously announced as Darius, will actually play the role.
The full musical cast will be announced at a later stage. Children between the ages of nine and fourteen can sign up for auditions starting Friday via STENT Casting.
Five successful feature films about the kind but inexperienced elementary school teacher have already been made. As with the films, writer Mirjam Oldenhave been closely involved with the production. The premiere will take place on January 14, 2024 at the Schouwburg Het Park in Hoorn. Ticket sales began at a number of theaters on Friday.
