The company will sell Surface 9 Pro displays, batteries, motherboards, cooling components, SSDs, cab units, Wi-Fi modules, Surface Connect connectors, speakers, cameras, power buttons, volume buttons, and back covers. Microsoft also wants to establish its own repair service in the United States by early 2023. It will partner with an undisclosed retail company for this.
According to iFixit, Microsoft has made efforts to make it easier to repair the Surface Pro 9. The SSD will be easier to access and the screen will be easier to replace.
