Linking your Nintendo account to Facebook or Twitter will soon be disabled – Games – News

The manufacturer said on Tuesday that it will no longer be possible to link a Twitter or Facebook account to a Nintendo account from October 25. From that date, users will still be able to use their Google or Apple account to sign in to their Nintendo account.

Nintendo Reports It may take longer to remove login options due to potential technical issues. If the feature’s cancellation process goes smoothly, starting October 25, users will be able to sign in to their Nintendo account using only their email address, Google account, or Apple account.

The ability to earn My Nintendo Points by linking a Twitter or Facebook account will also be removed. Also, the option to delete photos taken with your 3DS or Wii U will disappear To share via Facebook or Twitter. Images posted to 3DS and Wii U social media platforms before October 25 will still be available.

Nintendo has phased out some digital services in recent months. For example, it will not be possible to purchase games from March 27, 2023 Via eShop on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Support services for these stores have been closed before, such as using a credit or debit card to add money. Users can still redeem download codes that are valid before the end of March 2023 to get the games and downloadable content.
