Lego is launching its first Legend of Zelda set – two for the price of one

Lego has announced its first set based on The Legend of Zelda series. The collection contains 2,500 stones and can be pre-ordered starting today.

“The Great Deku Tree” is actually two sets in one. If you build it one way, you’ll get the tree of the same name from the beginning of “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.” If you build it the other way, you’re creating the older version of the token tree as seen in “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.”

Both versions are full of references to the games. For example, in the “Younger” tree you will find a replica of the treehouse of Link, the game’s hero, in the Kokiri Forest. There you will also find Navi, the little fairy who acts as a guide in the game. The set also includes a section inspired by the first dungeon of Ocarina of Time.

Delivered as of September 1st

The “old” version of the Great Deku Tree includes some Koroks, a race of small wooden creatures who wear paper masks, including the character Hestu. In addition, the famous Master Sword can be found, and the tree’s eyebrows and mouth can be placed.

The set also comes with four minifigures, an old and older version of Link from Ocarina of Time, and Link and Zelda from Breath of the Wild. The set contains a total of 2,500 building pieces. Although you can pre-order the set today, it will only be delivered from September 1st. Recommended retail price is €299.99.
