Ken returns to the stage after ten years. On June 5, 2024, the band will give a concert at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam. The return is celebrated with a new song.
Dinand Woesthoff and Dennis van Leeuwen decided to leave the band in 2014. They announced on Monday that they would be taking to the stage together again. They announced this during the premiere of the documentary series Videoland Ken – recorded story.
The guys celebrate Kane’s career with a concert. It has been 25 years since the band was founded. The rock band has released seven albums, won the Edison Award six times and recorded numerous hit songs over the years, e.g Raining on me And no giving up.
“If you had told me that a year and a half ago, I probably wouldn’t have believed you,” Westoff said. Van Leeuwen stated that “with a documentary, a brand new track and a big live show in the future” it almost feels like a fresh start. “I can’t imagine anything more fun right now.”
The new song what are you waiting for It can be heard from Tuesday. Tickets for the concert go on sale on Friday.
