HyperX announces webcam, audio mixer, and microphone boom – Image and Sound – News

HyperX unveiled the HyperX Vision S webcam on Thursday. It is the first webcam that the manufacturer has put on the market. In addition to the camera, HyperX will also launch an audio mixer and microphone boom. It is not yet known when the products will be released in the Benelux countries

Vision S is designed primarily for live streaming, HyperX writes. The webcam has an 8-megapixel Sony Starvis IMX415 sensor. This allows the device to record 4K images at a frame rate of 30fps and 1080p images at 60fps. Vision S works with HyperX’s NGENUITY software, which allows the user to adjust recording quality and lighting settings to their preferences. Furthermore, the webcam has an aluminum housing and a magnetic cover to cover the lens. The Vision S costs $200.

The second device revealed by HyperX is the Audio Mixer. The mixer has an XLR microphone input, a 3.5mm microphone input, and a 3.5mm stereo input. The device can be connected to a desktop using a USB-C cable and has a sampling rate of 96 kHz and a depth of 24 bits. The Audio Mixer will be available in early 2024 for $180. Finally, Caster was announced. This is the microphone arm onto which webcams with 1/4, 3/8, or 5/8 inch threads can be mounted. The arm will appear on the American market in February 2024 for $120.
