Kojima Productions, studio Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear, is teaming up with Xbox Game Studios on a new game. Kojima and Xbox CEO Phil Spencer announced this. The title is said to use cloud technology. There are no other details yet.
The studio is working on a “brand-new” game that “nobody has ever tried or seen before”, Hideo Kojima tells the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase† The game maker says it’s a game they’ve always wanted to make. Kojima also says that it may take some time before the game is over.
Additionally, Kojima says the game uses Microsoft’s own cloud technology, but he doesn’t say exactly how his studio will do it.
