I miss all the contacts that have become important to me on Twitter, if Twitter goes off the air. Since Elon Musk took control, it’s been a matter of waiting and seeing how things will continue with the platform. Will we have to pay to publish? And what other illogical things would he come up with?

Since last weekend a cyberattack was announced, Twitter has been turned upside down, and all kinds of messages have been flying back and forth. what is going on? Musk has tightened the rules for people who don’t already have a blue tick. If you have an “unverified account” you can only read 600 posts per day.

For me personally, everything it does is very frustrating, creates a lot of confusion, and I notice I panic a little bit. Does the platform have a future if this continues? Does Musk realize this himself?

For me, Twitter has become a very important platform in the past 11 years that I have been using it. It’s an outlet and I’ve found a lot of support and understanding there. I dare to be 100% myself and can talk about the things I find difficult, even though there is a lot of hate.

The question is where can I lose my egg if my twitter is broken. Twitter makes me feel less lonely and on what other platform can I find that feeling? I tried Mastodon for a while but found it difficult to build a new network again, so I quickly gave up.

For now it remains to be seen how it pans out and I’ll keep tweeting for as long as I can in the way that works for me!
