Electronic Arts has added Apex Legends Mobile to Play Store. Players can register on the Android App Store so that the game will be instantly downloaded when it becomes available soon. No release date has been announced.
The mobile version of the battle royale game from Respawn Entertainment has been coming for some time and has even been released in select countries. Now it seems that the release in the Netherlands is also approaching, because players can pre-register on the Play Store. EA has also released a new trailer for the game.
Apex Legends Mobile was announced last year. The mobile game is based on the Battle Royale Apex Legends game from Respawn Entertainment released in 2019. Respawn Entertainment has partnered with Quantum Studios to translate Apex Legends into a mobile version. The mobile game is separate from the PC and console game. Apex Legends Mobile players do not play with Apex Legends players.
The game has been announced for Android and iOS, but at the moment a release on Android only looks imminent. However, Respawn Entertainment has announced the minimum system requirements for both the Android and iOS versions. Android phones must be at least equipped with a Snapdragon 435, Hisilicon Kirin 650, Mediatek Helio P20 or Exynos 7420 soc processor. The phone must be running Android 6.0 or higher and support Open GL 3.1.
For iOS, the game will only run on an iPhone 6S or later model with iOS 11 or later installed. For both versions, the game requires 4GB of storage and can have at least 2GB of RAM.
