A number of Dutch stores have put the next generation of Intel processors online at an early stage. This confirms the various specifications of the Alder Lake CPUs. Stores also list prices for the Core i5-12600K, i7-12700K, and i9-12900K.
Online wizards may have inadvertently entered a number of stores that automatically connect the supplier’s product group. The lists are not very comprehensive, but various specifications can be derived from the nomenclature. In addition, the listings seem to confirm that the first release will only include overclockable K processors, which in practice means three normal CPUs and three F variants without igpu. There is no trace of low or non-K positioned models in all respective stores.
For some models, the base clock speed and the amount of L3 cache are listed. In both cases, it is consistent with previous rumors, which enhances its reliability. The top model, the Core i9-12900K, will receive eight fast Golden Cove cores and eight thrifty Gracemont cores. Fast cores can boost up to 5.3GHz. In total, the processor has a 30MB L3 cache at its disposal. The Core i7-12700K has the same number of fast cores, but lacks half of the frugal computing cores and a lower boost speed of 300MHz. Finally, the i5-12600K processor also lacks two fast cores.
The table below shows the prices for three stores inclusive of VAT. If the prices paint a realistic picture of what Intel will eventually charge, there is at least a price increase of 75-100 euros compared to Suggested Eleventh Generation Retail Prices. Although the ratios between processors seem realistic, it cannot be excluded that these are still alternative prices.

With Alder Lake processors, Intel is switching to a new production process for the first time in years, adopting an entirely new hybrid concept for the x86 world and improving both powerful and economical cores per se over the previous generation. As a result, significant improvements can be expected.
Intel has not yet shared any details about individual models, but it did release a lot of technical information about the Alder Lake processors last month. Tweakers books a Expanded preview. The official announcement of the Alder Lake processors is expected at the end of October. Intel planned an innovation event on October 27.
