Dogecoin Down 10%, XRP And 2 Cryptocurrencies Storm Top 100

The cryptocurrency market is turning red for the second day in a row, but again this is not a very heavy drop. Bitcoin is again just under $28,000

Ethereum price drops to $1,855

Ethereum (ETH) managed to rally sharply earlier this week, briefly surpassing $1,900 for the first time since August. However, today, the price of ether fell by 1.5% to $1855. The highly anticipated Ethereum update will follow next Wednesday, the same day as the CPI.

XRP is the only green in the top 10 red cryptocurrencies

Ripple (XRP) is the only price in the top ten that is turning green today. XRP is back above the infamous $0.5 and even climbed to $0.51 this morning, up 2.1%.

However, the rest of the top ten turns red. Binance Coin (BNB) is down 0.7% at $310.5. Cardano (ADA) bounced again yesterday, but by this morning it will drop below $0.38 and drop 1.5%, Polygon (MATIC) is down 1.5% and is currently trading around $1.10. Even Solana (SOL) is down 1.8% to $20.4 and Polkadot (DOT) no less than 2.6% to $6.16.

The hardest drop in Dogecoin today

Dogecoin (DOGE) is the biggest loser today. memecoin took a huge jump earlier this week due to the Twitter news, but is now falling again.

Cryptocurrency tops the top 100 losers list

The top 100 also turns red, although no price is as deeply in the minus today as DOGE. Despite this, bitcoin sv (BSV), graph (GRT), cosmos (ATOM), neo (NEO), toncoin (TON), stacks (STX) and conflux (CFX) are all down nearly 4%. Trust Wallet (TWT) is down nearly 5%, tezos (TZ) is down over 6% and kaspa (KASPA) is down even more than 8%.

Injected Coin and Engine break into the top 100

However, we do have two notable climbers re-entering the top 100. Injective (INJ) is up 10.4% today at $5.84, ranking 97th.

Enjin (ENJ) coin made a huge jump last night and then touched almost $0.5. Since then, the price has corrected and is currently around $0.47, which means that ENJ is still up 13% today and is at the 94th position.
