On the Internet appeared details about MSI multi-motherboards with the Z690 chipset. The company will create several models in the MEG, MPG, MAG and Pro series. The manufacturer has also placed teasers for three Z690 motherboards online.
The information comes from Twitter user momomo_us It was observed for the first time before Video Cards. Among other things, the company presents the Z690 ACE in the MEG series, which should become the highest-rated Z690 motherboard from MSI. The company will also offer MEG Unify motherboards; MSI’s Unify models usually feature an all-black design without RGB LEDs.
In the lower-rated MPG series, the company comes with Wi-Fi-equipped Carbon, Edge and Force motherboards. He also mentions the MAG Z690 Tomahawk Wifi, the MAG Z690 Torpedo, and several MSI Pro motherboards. However, some of these models incorrectly call the LGA1200 socket; Alder Lake CPUs use the Intel LGA1700 socket.
All those motherboards mentioned will support DDR5 memory. However, momomo_us’ info also mentions MPG Z690 Edge, MAG Z690 Tomahawk and three Pro Z690 motherboards with DDR4 support. These are standalone models. DDR4 and DDR5 are not Compatible with the previous generation.
