College football results, schedule, NCAA top 25 rankings, today's games: Boise State, BYU in action

As the sixth week of the college football season dawns, we’ve reached the point where the undefeated weightlifting begins, with 17 FBS-level undefeated teams still remaining, including only 10 of the Power Five Conferences. Among the highlights of the list of other Saturday loaded matches will be many of those unbeaten teams that put their records on the line against high-quality opposition, which means that the number of undefeated teams will shrink again when the dust settles.

In the early games window, No. 6, Oklahoma, competes for 21st over Texas, while No. 11 Michigan State travels to Rutgers. In the afternoon, BYU’s 10th hosts Boise State, while 24th SMU will try to fend off a surprise attempt from the Navy, and No. 4 Pennsylvania will face off with No. 3 in Iowa in a battle between the undefeated Big Ten teams. Also highlighting the afternoon roster is Georgia’s 18th place finish at Auburn on CBS in the oldest competition in the Deep South. Alabama No. 1 Texas A&M battles a prime-time showdown on CBS, while No. 9 Michigan, No. 16 Kentucky and No. 19 Wake Forest all put their perfect records on the line against teams of 0.500 or better.

CBS Sports will be here every step of the way to keep you informed of the latest scores, highlights and stories all night long. All times are oriental
