Chinese graphics card manufacturer Maxsun offers the GeForce RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti in its “Mega Gamer GPU” series. The video cards hold a total of five fans, three of them large and two smaller. The GPUs also have a detachable RGB LED strip.
The GeForce RTX 4080 and 4070 Ti MGG OC are the first video cards in the Mega Gamer GPU series from Maxsun, writes technology website Tom’s Hardware. The RTX 40 video cards have three fans on the front, just like many video cards from other Nvidia board partners. At the top, however, are two smaller fans, which according to Tom’s Hardware calculations appear to be about 50mm in diameter. Two small fans blow extra air over the heatsink towards the motherboard.
Furthermore, Maxsun’s MGG series has an RGB LED strip, flanked by two additional small fans. These LEDs seem to be stuck to magnets and can be removed with that, According to a video from the company. The LED strip also has a print with the text “Mega Gamer”. GPUs use a 12Vhpwr connection for power.
The manufacturer also shares some details about the video cards. For example, it is not clear what the clock speeds of the GPUs will be, although if there is an “OC” suffix in the names of the models, it is likely that they will be higher than the standard speeds that Nvidia adheres to. Maxsun, which is primarily focused on the Asian market, says it will share more details about the GPUs next week.
