Call of Duty: Warzone’s anti-cheat system crushes cheaters – Games – .Geeks

The team behind Call of Duty’s anti-cheat system RICOCHET has added a new feature to shame cheaters in Call of Duty: Warzone. If they jump from the plane, their parachutes could detach at any time.

Function, Which is appropriately called Splat, added by the RICOCHET team so that other players can instantly “notice” who is trying to cheat. Previously, cheaters were dealt with behind closed doors, either keeping them in the game to collect data or simply making them disappear. In the past, the system has also activated other players’ “God Mode” or provided them with a shield that deflects cheaters’ bullets.

The developers say this new tool is simply “more fun.” If the system detects that someone is not killing them in an honest way, the parachute can be “simply turned off” after jumping out of the plane. Does the system detect that the player made a mistake after jumping? Then he could end up in an accelerated free fall of thousands of meters, which the character does not survive.

The RICOCHET team confirms that Splat will not be randomly activated for a player who has not been checked for cheating, even after a report from another player. “This is one of many new tricks we’ve developed – and we’ll talk more about it in the future.”
