Britney Spears has reaffirmed that she is fine after fans called the police earlier this week over concerns about her. “I am alive, well and ready for a new day,” the singer wrote on Twitter.
Spears asked for privacy earlier this week after police showed up at her door to make sure she was okay. According to the singer, the calls from her fans were a prank that got out of hand.
Now she says she’s glad she stood up for herself. “Can you believe it? I honestly don’t. Having said that, know that I’m doing the best I can.”
The singer says that she takes care of herself, including by playing sports. “I do it indoors, outdoors, wherever I want.”
