Ayana wins Junior Song contest and goes to Paris on behalf of the Netherlands |  to watch

UpdateAyana won the 2021 Junior Song competition tonight. She sang Mata Sugu Aō Ne. Ayana can now represent the Netherlands at Junior Eurovision 2021, later this year in Paris.




At the Rotterdam Ahoy Arena, four acts took part in the Dutch final, which was broadcast on NPO 3 and presented by Romy Monteiro and Bodhi Vidder. Ayana eventually scored 33 points, more than her opponents Melody, Priscilla and SH! NE.

Ayana is so excited to win: , I want to thank you all. a lot of love. I love you!”. She managed to impress the professional jury, children’s jury and home viewers with her song Mata Sugu Aõ Ne. The jury consisted of experts Emma Hesters, Django McCroy and Rolf Sanchez.

The 19th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest for children will be held on December 19 in the French capital. Ayana’s preparations for the International Final can be followed every Friday on the YouTube channel of the Junior Song Contest.

Ayana lives in Bussum. She was born in the Netherlands, but her parents are British and Japanese. She has been involved for four years with Children for Children for which she published the annual Al 40 jaar! rich.
