ASRock Introduces Passively Cooled iBOX Mini PC With 13th Generation Intel Processors – PC News

ASRock Industrial has released new versions of its embedded iBOX systems. Passively cooled mini PCs are equipped with new 13th generation Intel processors, with TDPs from 15 to 28 watts. PCs cost $800 to $1,300, depending on the model.

asrock Offers six different iBOX mini computers With new CPUs, FanlessTech was the first to notice. The systems come with 13th generation Core i3, i5, and i7 processors. The top model gets one Core i7-1365UE processor. This chip has two P-cores and eight e-cores, for a total of ten cores and twelve threads. Small computers use integrated graphics processing units. The computers also support up to 32GB of DDR5-4800 memory and feature an M.2 slot with PCIe 4.0 interface and a SATA 3.0 connection for storage.

Like previous generations, iBOX computers have an aluminum casing that also acts as a heatsink for the CPU. The computer does not have fans. On the front are four USB-A connections, two USB-C ports, and a 3.5mm jack. On the back of the systems are two USB-A ports, two RJ45 connections for 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet, an HDMI connector, a DisplayPort connection, a DC connection for the power supply, and an RS-232 gateway. There is also an M.2-2230 connection for the WiFi card.

ASRock does not share information about the availability of iBOX mini PCs in Europe. In the US, systems can be found for $800 to $1,300, depending on the model, FanlessTech reports.
