Game site Exputer claims FromSoftware will release Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon in September or October 2023. According to Exputer, FromSoftware wants to release the game before the new Elden Ring DLC comes to market.
According to the editors of Exputer It is likely that the sixth part of the Armored Core will be released at the end of September, rather than in October. According to the website, this layout can still be changed if problems arise during development.
At the beginning of last year, the first rumors appeared about a new Armored Core game. A ResetEra forum user then received a survey from FromSoftware containing screenshots, movies, and questions about a new sci-fi game in which players control a mech. The video reportedly featured a boss fight which the user claimed was reminiscent of Dark Souls.
In the summer of 2022, FromSoftware CEO Hidetaka Myazaki told that the company had been working on a game since 2016. This game was “in the last stages of development” at the time. At the end of last year, FromSoftware and Bandai Namco finally published it trailer Armored Core 6: Rubicon fires.
Armored Core is a series of mech action games, the first part of which was released on PlayStation by FromSoftware in 1997. To date, more than ten games have been published in the series, the last part of which was released in 2013. Armored Core 6: Fires of Fire will be released Rubicon on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, Xbox One and PC. FromSoftware has not yet officially commented on the rumors.
