When Marc-Marie points out that men dream more about men, and that for women it is fifty-fifty, Issa tells a story from the old days. “I once dreamed that I had an affair with my sister’s husband, and that was also very dangerous.” She is referring to Peter Paul Müller, who plays Martin Moreiro in Gooische Vrouwen.

“We also said to each other: ‘Yes, but what about Annick (Editor’s daughter-in-law)?’ That’s nice too,” Issa says sarcastically. “We were also playing together again at the time, so that must have something to do with it. He’s my husband in All Stars, that’s why.”

Issa has previously revealed that she is open to a serious relationship. “Two years ago, I told my diary that I wanted to act again and I immediately got a role in a film. I trust what will happen, so I also have that feeling with a man,” she told Beaumonde.

What do you look for in a man? “I’m a strong person myself, so there has to be someone by my side who can handle that. He has to be able to handle my fame, but not find it too interesting. On top of that, he has to be financially well-off. I’m very clear about that now.”
