Now that Els from “B&B Vol Liefde” has discovered Instagram, she delights her followers every day with all sorts of fun photos and stories. Today she shares an old photo from her time as a flight attendant.
“Maybe a little late bloomer”
This picture… long time ago2002. I was still training at KLM, Els wrote in a photo of herself in her famous blue suit. “I started flying when I was 37. I really wanted to do what made me happy. Maybe it was a bit of a late bloomer.
The hat the reality star is wearing in the photo is not actually a flight attendant’s uniform. “On a training flight to Madrid, the captain (a woman in this case) said, ‘Else, sit up front, put on my hat, and I’ll take a picture from below.'” And here it is!’
Many people in the aviation industry have seen this image before. “I took another look at this image The cabin is ready. (Staff magazine, no longer in existence) appeared in our then-vice president of inflight services column, reports Els. “The beginning of a great time at KLM.”
