Researchers have developed an AI model that can predict diseases by analyzing the color of the tongue. The technology can diagnose various diseases with up to 98 percent accuracy.
The AI model, inspired by a 2,000-year-old traditional Chinese medicine practice, can predict diseases such as asthma, stroke, anemia, COVID-19, diabetes, liver and gallbladder diseases, and various vascular and digestive problems.
The color, shape, and thickness of your tongue can reveal a lot about your health. If you have diabetes, your tongue will turn more yellow than usual. If you have cancer, your tongue will be purple. A white tongue can indicate anemia, while stroke or coronavirus patients will have a red tongue.
I trained with thousands of images.
To train the model, the researchers used 5,260 images of tongues in different colors and lighting conditions. They used six different machine learning algorithms to teach the AI to make the correct diagnosis.
