The new Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 model could be coming later this month. That’s what the Chinese board channels are claiming. The new version will feature GDDR6 memory, while the current RTX 4070 has GDDR6X vRAM.

The GPU will have the same specs as the current model, but will be equipped with GDDR6 memory with speeds of up to 20 GB/s. The regular RTX 4070, which Nvidia released last year, has 21 GB/s GDDR6X memory. That translates to about a 4.7 percent reduction in memory speed. It is not known whether Nvidia will officially announce the new RTX 4070 variant or whether it will be available without an announcement. The model appears to be available worldwide.
