God of War Ragnarok PC Edition Requires 190GB of Storage Space and PSN Account – Games – News

So you’re still passing fake data?

problem:

1. You must have a valid working email address. So either use your official address or a dump address. Now every time you have to log in, you have to log in to whichever one it was. Especially if there has been a little time between the last time you played.
2. You must have a password. Now every time you log in, you must…
3. Some use your date of birth or other dates to verify. Same problem again, you can use wrong data, yes, but you also have to remember it.

I’ve hit a wall a few times because I no longer know which (fake) dates were on X service, for example, I had to redeem a pass, what’s your date of birth. Huh???

Then there’s all the hassle:

* Steam release
* Login
* Oh, Steam updates.
* Start the game…
* Other installers/platforms on top of your Steam machine or anything else
* Who then complains about your passport and/or email every time you want to play the game.
* which you then have to update yourself.
* Where you will again have to enter your pass and/or email.
* The game starts with an unskippable “intro/logo/other crap”.

And then you’re 10 minutes away from playing the game. The result is that you have less desire to play games because the walls are always costing you time.

Oh, and if you want to be in a match, depending on the game, you’ll also have to download a lot of skins and other assets because of course the game is expanded by 70% with additional content that they constantly release for sale (if then they don’t shove another loot box or gambling mechanic in your face).

In the end: If you don’t like the policy or the way the company presents its products/services, ignore it.

With many games, you don’t see yourself having such a hassle. Yes, sometimes a PSN or Rockstar account is required, but most of the time it’s somewhere on the side or at the bottom of the page. People just want to play the game, not all this nonsense.

Ironically, this is where the pirate argument comes in again, you get better service with pirate software because they then hack the additional services, and the game is just a click away. Yes, you can often whistle in multiplayer games, but you can hit.

The result of all this pollution in games (microtransactions, modders, platform-by-platform, data starvation, invasive anti-cheat) is that I play far less games than I used to, and I hardly buy games anymore. God, I don’t care about piracy anymore.

All this nonsense about people being able to overtake etc is bad for the industry.
