“The result of that will be that health care costs will only increase,” Feigenman answers when asked what would happen if the deductible were eliminated.
No threshold? More for the doctor
She refers to many studies conducted in this regard. “This shows that if there is no barrier to using care, people will still tend to go to the doctor sooner,” says healthcare director RTL Z Z360 interviewer.

“So it seems like a good step forward since there’s no discount. But that actually increases costs,” she continues. “This translates into a bonus and then people really pay more.”

According to her, other PVV plans (including the dentist returning to the basic package and more hands at the bedside) are also “not entirely realistic”. “Dental costs are included in basic insurance? It is possible, but it comes at a price,” she explains.
These costs are now reimbursed (partially) by supplemental insurance. “If everyone has to pay this amount, health insurance premiums are bound to increase as well,” she predicts.
