Water cooling manufacturer Alphacool will be showcasing the Apex Pro Skeleton modular housing during Computex 2024. This is partly made of carbon fiber and has an open design. The company also offers a DDC pump that should perform similarly to the larger D5 model.

Alphacool supplies the enclosure with a water cooling distribution plate, which is designed specifically for this enclosure. The Skeleton uses a PCIe 4.0 riser for a vertically mounted video card.

Alphacool plans to make this case available later this month. One employee told Tweakers that he hopes to launch the housing with a target price of between 750 and 850 euros in Europe. There will also be a cheaper non-pro version made of aluminum, which also comes without a derailleur. It will cost about $500 writes TechPowerUp.

The Core DDCZero compact pump should be as good as the D5

Alphacool is also presenting several water cooling components during Computex. Many of them center around the new Core DDCZero pump, which the company co-developed with Xylem. The manufacturer claims that the DDCZero pump should operate similarly to the D5 pump, although it is more compact with its DDC form factor.

The company comes with several products that are compatible with the new DDCZero. In addition to a number of tanks where the pump can be installed, Alphacool, for example, offers a water block with space for a DDCZero. The manufacturer says it will also use the design in its 240 and 360mm AIO water coolers.

According to Alphacool, the DDCZero pump will be launched in the third quarter of this year, along with the pump deck and a number of tanks. The AIOs will be released at the end of this year or early 2025. However, the manufacturer has not yet been able to confirm the recommended prices for the Tweakers.
