Antec will soon release its version of the Ayaneo Slide handheld gaming device in Europe, under the name Core HS. The mobile device has an expandable 1080p display and an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U APU. The portable device costs €799 and includes a USB-C docking station.

The first Antec Core HS laptops will arrive in the Netherlands next week, says The Director general For Antec in Europe to Tweakers. The device should become available shortly after that. The mobile device will be based on the Ayaneo Slide mobile device, which is not yet widely available in the European Union. The device will cost 799 euros. This amount includes a USB-C docking station, among other accessories.

Antec previously announced that it would launch the Ayaneo Slide under its own name. The device has a 1080p expandable display with a 60Hz refresh rate. Below that screen is a built-in keyboard, surrounded by several buttons that act, for example, as a start button. The device also comes with Ayaneo software, which allows adjustment of fan speeds, screen brightness, volume and other settings.

The device is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7840U processor, which has eight Zen 4 cores and a graphics processing unit (IGPU) with twelve RDNA3 CUs. The laptop comes with up to 32GB of memory and up to 2TB of storage, in the form of an M.2-2280 SSD with a PCIe 4.0 interface. The portable device also has a 46.2 Wh battery, two USB4 ports, an SD card reader, and comes with Windows 11 operating system.
