Acer is showing off its cheapest Wi-Fi 7 router yet the weekend before Computex. The Acer Wave 7 will cost 119 euros, which is a little less if you buy a 2- or 3-pack. The router has a maximum theoretical speed of 6400Mbps and supports mesh.

Priced at €119 for a single router, €199 for a 2-pack or €299 for a 3-pack, the Acer Wave 7 will be the cheapest Wi-Fi 7 router yet when it is released in July. At the moment, these routers on Pricewatch still cost at least 200 euros.

The Wave 7 supports Wi-Fi 7 at 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz frequencies, but only two can be active at the same time; You have to choose between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz and 6 GHz. The router has a quad-core MediaTek CPU, a theoretical maximum speed of 6,000 Mbit/s, a 2.5 Gigabit WAN port, and four Gigabit LAN ports. You also get TrendMicro for life with this device. This “gaming router” has a USB-A port, which is missing from the Wave 7. The Predator router, like the Wave 7, will be available in July.
