Same thing here, I think this could pretty much describe a game like World of Warcraft or something like that. It was pretty cool at first, and with each new expansion you already know it’s not going to be anything special. I’m also very interested in the lore, and I just want to know how it ends. Although you can also check it out on YouTube.
Destiny started out rough and cool, with a lot of potential, but when I first finished the campaign I was like “Oh, that’s it” and didn’t realize I’d be repeating this little bit of content a few hundred times, until I jumped out of the glass, which is also pretty cool …for the first time, the second, the third time…until we cheese it all off and can solo (pushing Atheon off the edge was hilarious).
But it’s still good, this is a ten-year plan, there’s a lot of potential, and there’s definitely a lot to come, right?
Finally! Downloadable content! Darkness below! Yay more content! I took time off to play it…which wasn’t really necessary, because I could have finished it in the evening, how frustrating. But at least there’s a new raid to grind…that’s what happened with every expansion, and I keep hoping this game will right itself one day, but there’s not much to do. The first few times these raids were legendary, and the game was put together really well, but development was always slow and limited (vault space, boy, how long did that take).
And by the time D2 finally put together a significant amount of content with all the DLC, they stole most of it away… pfff.
