Eva Jenek won the Sonia Barend Award for Best TV Interview for the second time. She received the award for her interview with Camille van Gestel, one of Siewert van Linden’s partners in the controversial face mask deal.
The professional judging panel included AD columnist Angela de Jong and NOS presenter Simone Wemans. “This interview shows Eva Jenek at her best,” says de Jong. “The crowd was textbook, they clamped down on him mercilessly, and his comment ‘You don’t have to be an idiot’ put an end to it.”

Distinctive.”
