OPPO launches A98 5G smartphone with Snapdragon 695-soc in the Netherlands – Tablets & Phones – News

OPPO launches its mid-range A98 5G smartphone in the Netherlands. The phone has a Snapdragon 695 5G chipset and a 6.72-inch 120Hz LCD with fhd+ resolution, and the A98 5G has a suggested retail price of €385.

The weight of the phone according to OPPO 192 grams and has dimensions of 165.6 x 76.1 x 8.2 mm. The phone also has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Memory can be increased by another 8GB and storage space up to 1TB.

In addition, the device has a 64MP main camera, a 32MP selfie camera, a depth camera and a 2MP micro lens each. The latter offers a maximum magnification of 40x. OPPO A98 5G runs on Android 13 with ColorOS 13.1 skin on top. The device also has a screen-to-body ratio of 91.4 percent.

OPPO further claims that the phone’s fast charging capability is an improvement over its predecessor. 67W Super VOOC charging technology is used, while the A97 supports 33W fast charging. This allows the phone to be fully charged in 44 minutes according to the manufacturer. When full, users should be able to watch 16 hours of YouTube videos or play games for 8.4 hours before the 5000mAh battery runs out. The company promises that the battery will still retain 80 percent of its original capacity after 1,600 charge cycles.

The smartphone was previously introduced to the Asian market, but now it is also available in the Netherlands, among others. The device is only available in the Cool Black version and costs 385 euros.
