Xiaomi has announced the launch of Benelux’s Redmi Note 12 phones. Four models will be launched: the regular 4G version, the 5G version, the Pro model with 5G, and the Pro + model with a larger camera and faster charging.
All four phones have a screen of the same diagonal and resolution. It is a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. And the difference is in maximum brightness, because the Pro models can be much brighter: up to 900 nits per square meter, the manufacturer claims. The normal 4G version comes to 450 nits per square meter.
The phones have a USB-C port for charging and a 3.5mm jack for connecting your headphones. Phones differ in their maximum charging speed. The Redmi Noe 12 4G and 5G variant comes in at 33W, the Pro at 67W and the Pro+ at 120W. Another difference is in the camera. The three cheapest cameras have a primary camera with a 50MP sensor, but that sensor is about 35 square millimeters in the regular 4G and 5G version and 50 square millimeters in the Pro. The Pro+ has a 200MP camera with an area of 62mm square.
Xiaomi already announced the phones last year for release in the home country. Smartphones are available immediately. The Redmi Note 124G costs €249, the 5G version costs €299, the Note 2 Pro costs €399, and the Note Pro+ costs €499.
