Microsoft has released a new beta version of Windows 11 intended for the Dev channel. This includes extensive taskbar support optimized for tablet users.

It is an improved taskbar for touch control. In concrete terms, this means that the taskbar, as it were, collapses to a smaller size with a touch-sensitive tablet and if the mouse or keyboard is not connected. This also leaves more space on the screen. The idea is that the taskbar in the larger format makes touch control easier.
