Logitech subsidiary Ultimate Ears has announced the Hyperboom and Wonderboom 3 built into Benelux. The cost of the “table model” and the portable speaker is 450 and 100 euros, respectively.

At 364x190x190mm and weighing nearly six kilograms, the Ultimate Ears Hyperboom is the brand’s largest audio amplifier to date. The amplifier supports input from four audio sources, split into two channels, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack and optical audio connection. According to the manufacturer, the Hyperboom battery lasts 24 hours and can be charged in 2.5 hours through the supplied power supply. There is also a USB-A output for smartphone operation.

The speaker is IPX4 splash-resistant and equipped with two 114mm woofers, two 25mm woofers and two 191mm passive radiators. Hyperboom will automatically adapt to the environment and in this way the sound coil will adapt to the room in which it is located. The black variant is available at the time of writing, and was previously also available in other countries. An all-new white version will be released in the Benelux on September 9th.

In addition, Ultimate Ears introduces the Wonderboom 3 speaker, the third variant of the portable floating speaker. Many aspects such as 360-degree sound, dimensions and weight are identical to the Wonderboom 2. The revamped Wonderboom also has an IP67 rating and floats, so it can in principle get into a pool.

According to Ultimate Ears, the Wonderboom 3 has been improved in terms of Bluetooth range, among other things: the maximum distance has been increased from thirty to forty meters. The portable speaker battery should also last an hour longer, fourteen instead of thirteen. The micro USB connection is still used to charge the battery, which should take more than 2.5 hours. Finally, the speaker is now made from 100% recycled polyester fabric and 31% recycled plastic. All Ultimate Ears speakers are CO . certified2-neutral. Wonderboom 3 will be available on Benelux from August 31.

Update, 2:23pm: The original post had an incorrect Hypertree release date, and this has been corrected. A press official from Ultimate Ears also confirmed to Tweakers that only the white version of Hyperboom will be released on the relevant release date, the black version is now available in Benelux.
