These are the programming changes for 2024

New year: means that many radio stations have changed their programs. A number of DJs will start their shows today or this week, with others starting later this month. RadioFreak lists everything from national channels.

NPO Radio 1

Roos Abelman took over “Spraakmakers” from the late Ghislaine Plag. Andrew Makkinga has been added to the show’s cast for “Kunststof”. He can be heard alongside Willemijn Veenhoven in rotation on NPO Radio 1. Tonight he will begin a conversation with Winti priestess Marianne Marcello.

Mandy Woelkens will be setting up a program for Omroep Zwart on Sunday evening. Her program “looks at news and current affairs in a positive light.”

NPO Radio 2

In December, Stefan Stasi said goodbye to NPO Radio 2. He had to leave the program. “It wasn’t ready for me at all,” he said earlier. Stefan will switch to NPO Radio 5. For now, Frank van Hove will follow him in the evenings with “Het Platenpaleis”.

On Friday, Jasper de Vries will be in charge of presenting the programme. Gijs Staverman will stop “Staverman’s Disco” and “Club Staverman” will run from 10:00pm to 12:00am on Friday evenings.

Almost all weekend evening programs on Radio 2 have been cancelled. On Friday and Saturday nights, non-stop music can only be heard between 2:00 AM and 7:00 AM. During the week, Radio 2 will have an additional night programme: Desiree van der Heiden will present a night program from 0:00am to 2:00am. Her time between 4:00 and 6:00 was taken over by Tanaz Hajebi.

The night from Sunday to Monday will also be partly non-stop: Jeroen van Inkel will present “Van Inkels Choice” between 0:00 and 2:00, after which you will hear non-stop music for two hours and then Evert Duipmans from 4 will present “:00 to 6:00” Extension.

Nebo 3FM

Tom de Graaf and Joe Stam make their first broadcast on NPO 3FM at 9:00am. They were part of the ‘Mattie and Marieke’ team at Qmusic as ‘Joe Intern from the Show’ and ‘Tom from the intercom’, and now they have to create their own show. From 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM you can hear it with “Tom & Joe”

Luc Sarnell has left 3FM and will be succeeded by Floris Molinar at the end of the week. He now presents his program on the channel on Saturdays and Sundays between 4:00 and 7:00 am.

NPO Radio 5

Stefan Stasi will be presenting “The Magical Mystery Tour” on NPO Radio 5. The program can be heard on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 2:00pm and 4:00pm. Stefan’s program replaces the EO “Open House” program presented by Henk van Steeg (Friday) and Giovanca Ostiana (Saturday). EO will present a new program in the evenings between 8:00pm and 11:00pm, called “De Avond Op Vijf”. The show is in the hands of Gerja Wolf (Mon-Thurs) and Giovance (Fri).

So “Volgspot” with Hijlco Span moves to the weekend and can be heard on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm. “The Musical Fruit Basket” with Petra De Goude will now be heard on Saturdays and Sundays from 6:00pm to 8:00pm instead of four consecutive hours on Sunday evenings. Sander Kramer and Ron Brandstedter can no longer be heard on the station.

100% nothing

Eric Van Roekel returns to radio every day. Starting next week, it can be heard every weekday between 10:00am and 1:00pm in 100% NL.

After nearly ten years at Qmusic, Kai Merckx can be heard on a new channel as of this new year. He will present the afternoon show on sister station JOE between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. He also continues to host the morning show on Qmusic on Fridays with Mattie Valk.

Dennis Royer begins the JOE Lunch Show on January 15. The DJ bid farewell to Radio 538 in November after 23 years, and Koen Swegnenberg and Sander Lantinga will present the morning show on JOE, but it is not yet clear when that will be.

Because Kai moved from Qmusic to JOE, there is a shift in the evening Q. Joost Swinkels will present the evening show on weekdays between 7:00pm and 10:00pm. It also offers “Worldwide Club 20” on weekends.

Lars Boele takes over late in the evening and can be heard between 10:00pm and 1:00am. The night was also partially presented again. Judith Eijk’s voice can be heard between 01:00 and 03:00.

Radio 538

Martijn la Grouw starts this month in the evening on Radio 538. The DJ can be heard on the channel between 7:00pm and 9:00pm. Martijn has recently been heard from 100% NL, where he only recently joined, before playing in SLAM!.

Bas Menteng and Dylan Boyet will present the late evening program on Radio 538. Together with newsreader Eva Floon, they are preparing a program from 9pm until midnight.

Veronica Radio

Starting tomorrow, Martijn Muijs will take over the morning show, succeeding Frank van der Linde. Frank moves to the time slot between 12:00 and 14:00. Martijn is temporarily present at Veronica’s morning until final arrangements are made.
