The past 14 days have been the most special weeks since the start of the credit crunch in 2008. Banks have collapsed in droves, and the end of this crisis does not seem imminent at the moment. Right now, even a bank bigger than Credit Suisse, and one of the largest in the world, seems to be in trouble.

There appears to be a domino effect and so far it is not clear where this will eventually stop. As this banking crisis rocks and we will get to the bottom of it today, this will of course make you think. Are your savings in the Netherlands still safe?
