Teun van de Keuken has ceased to provide value checking service | 20 years later, the media
Teun van de Keuken discontinued the program after twenty years evaluation service. The TV presenter puts out a column on Sundays De Volkskrant He expresses a desire to free up more time for other things.

Van de Keuken calls the programme, which studies the production of food and other consumer products, “one of the most beautiful TV shows in the Netherlands”. However, the presenter decided to stop the programme.

“I have more to do before I’m officially old,” he writes. He refers, among others, to the podcast company Meer van Dit that he founded with Guusje de Vries and Gijs Groenteman. “I want to write books and cookbooks and make new short TV series or documentaries about the things that really matter to me.” As he puts it, he often has no energy left after he gets out of the car in the evening after recordings.

So the 51-year-old presenter decided to get out of his comfort zone and stop presenting evaluation service. Van de Keuken also took a hiatus from the TV show pointer, “to clear his agenda and his head”. The presenter also thanks KRO-NCRV for the great cooperation and begins with “a little pain, a lot of fear, but also with a good sense for an uncertain future”.

The broadcaster says the collaboration with Van de Keuken ended in “a good consultation”. KRO-NCRV is also grateful for the kind cooperation of Van de Keuken and his contribution to the broadcaster’s press programmes.

It is not yet known who will replace Van de Keuken in the consumer programme.
