Samsung provides a successor to the Galaxy A22 5G with Snapdragon-soc – tablets and phones – news

Samsung will provide the successor to the Galaxy A22 5G with Qualcomm Snapdragon soc, instead of MediaTek Dimensity soc. Samsung introduced the A23 5G phone on its own website on Monday, after weeks of rumors about the upcoming phone.

Specifications on Samsung website I only mention octacore soc but samsung fanite SamMobile knows It is Snapdragon 695 from Qualcomm. The A22 5G has a MediaTek Dimensity 700. The Snapdragon 695 has Arm Cortex A78 cores at 2.2GHz, while the processor performance in the Dimensity 700 should come from Cortex A76 cores. Other soc elements such as gpu and modem are also different.

Compared to its predecessor, the A23 5G is slightly less tall and heavier, but it is a bit wider. A macro camera has also been added on the back and there are now three cameras under each other, instead of the cameras being in a box.

The A22 5G was introduced last summer for 229 euros. It is not known if the A23 5G will be released, when and at what price. There was a rumor that the price would be around 300 euros, but this seems unlikely, since then the phone will compete with other models of the Galaxy A line and the gap with the A13, which costs about 155 euros, will then be large.
