Samsung isn't giving you any new AI features on these phones

Nowadays, you get long-term support with Samsung phones, but cheaper devices don’t get all the new functionality with updates. Samsung has released One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy A73, A53, A33, and Galaxy Tab Active 5, but the new Galaxy AI functionality is completely missing.

Samsung previously released software for the Galaxy S24, adding several new AI functions. But top devices from 2021 and earlier received far fewer of those AI functions with the software update to One UI 6.1, and the mid-range Galaxy A54 and A34 didn’t get Galaxy AI at all. This also applies to devices that now have You have received the update.

A little force

One possible explanation for Samsung not equipping devices with new AI functions is that they may not have enough computing power. The functions work directly on your device and not over the Internet. It may take a long time for the AI to respond to slower mid-range devices.

Fortunately, you can still benefit from a number of other improvements. There are new gallery features, more photo editing options, better widgets overall, and more widgets for the lock screen. You should also optimize your wallpaper settings and optimize Samsung Health.

OneUI 6.1 interface

The One UI 6.1 update is being rolled out in phases to the Galaxy A73, A53, A33, and Galaxy Tab Active 5, and will likely appear on these devices sometime next week.
