Rumor: Nvidia postpones GeForce GTX 1630 desktop graphics card until June 15 – Computer – News

Nvidia may have delayed the release of the GeForce GTX 1630 until June 15. This claims the technology website VideoCardz based on its own sources. According to previous reports, the card will be initially announced on May 31.

Nvidia has provided the new blocking information to its partners, Writes VideoCardz, which publishes the timetable for the ban. Such schedules are offered, for example, to Nvidia board partners, who manufacture video cards based on Nvidia GPUs. The blocking timeline shows that Nvidia will release the GTX 1630 on June 15th at 3pm Dutch time.

At the same time, the company began to “market” that video card. This indicates that Nvidia will not officially announce the card before its release, but will release it immediately on June 15. There is no review ban in the schedule. According to VideoCardz, that could mean that the media won’t receive GTX 1630 review samples prior to release.

The GeForce GTX 1630 has been rumored for some time, and the video card is expected to be based on a Turing GPU with 512 CUDA cores and a 64-bit memory bus. The GTX 1630 will also have 4GB of GDDR6 memory at 12Gbps and a TDP of 75W. According to earlier reports from VideoCardz, it is a successor to the GTX 1050 Ti, although the site now also claims that the GTX 1630 is slower than that video card. It is not yet known what the GTX 1630 will cost.
