I remember very well when we once went to buy the first 100Hz TV tube, and the seller also resoundingly claimed “what nonsense, you don’t notice it”, the best man was wearing huge glasses on his nose, so now I also have glasses A picture of you in my head with a magnifying glass “90 Hz, no need for that *mumble*” you mumble. Just because you don’t notice it doesn’t mean it’s not there, right?
I dare say I can guess the difference between the refresh rates at around 200Hz resolution. But you don’t even have to notice the real difference. The advantage of this smoother screen is that it is more intuitive. It feels more responsive, especially when scrolling through text, and this is clearly noticeable.
But your last sentence
It’s nice to have all your browsing behaviors and everything you do with your phone sent to Google at 90Hz…..
Sending your browsing behavior to Google at 90Hz, right? Do you seriously think your refresh rate has anything to do with the data sent to Google, let alone its frequency? Maybe it’s one of the captcha things and that’s tracking your cursor, but that’s based on an interval, and certainly not on the refresh rate (which happens as well on the iPhone as it does on Android).
The thing is, I see your name a lot here, but other than that I thought this was bait.
