Remedy and 505 Games working on Control Sequel for PS5, Xbox Series X, S, and PC – Gaming – News

Remedy Entertainment has officially confirmed that Control 2 is in development. The Finnish game studio makes this second part with 505 games. The game will be available for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and S. A release date has not been announced yet.

The title will once again be made using the Northlight engine that Remedy is developing itself, the studio confirms. Remedy releases the game for PC; 505 Games will be the publisher of the console versions. Controller 2 is currently still in the concept stage. The developer shares the concept of the game art, but does not share any specific details. For example, it is not yet known when the game will be released.

Control 2 was previously known under the working title Heron, of which Remedy Pre-confirmed arrival. It will be a “complete sequel” to Control from 2019, let the studio know. Remedy has an initial budget of 50 million euros for the title. The studio is also currently working on a title codenamed Condor. This will be a multiplayer demo of Control, in which four players can fight against enemies. A release date for this title has not yet been announced. Remedy is also working on Alan Wake 2; This game should be released in 2023.
