Pictures and specifications of Alder Lake non-K processors appear online – Computer – News

Images and details about Intel’s upcoming non-K CPUs in the Alder Lake series have surfaced. Unlike current Alder Lake processors, these processors are not overclockable. New non-K chips are expected in early 2022.

Photos posted by DDAA117 on Chinese social mediator Zhihu, I noticed Video Cards up first. The pictures show the Core i9-12900, Core i5-12600, Core i5-12500, and Core i5-12400. The leaker He hasn’t posted any images of Core i7 variants or CPUs with the F suffix, which have the GPU disabled.

At the same time, user Zhihu posts CPU-Z screenshots of chips, and the leaker corroborates previously posted information from known leaker momomo_us. For example, the DDAA117 asserts that the Core i9-12900 has 16 cores and 24 threads, divided into 8 P-cores with tightened and 8 cores without tightening. This is equivalent to the current Intel Core i9-12900K. The P cores of the processor will increase Baseclock 2.4GHz and 5.1GHz turbo frequency, and the CPU has a 30MB L3 cache.

Even more surprising are the three Core i5 variants, all of which seem to have only 6 P cores, and no electronic cores. The current Intel Core i5-12600K processor has 6 cores and 4 cores. All three Core i5 non-K chips have an 18MB L3 cache. Mutual differences are limited to clock speeds.

from Intel Core i7-12700 It is modern Featured in an online store. This processor gets 8 P-cores and 4 E-cores, for a total of 20 threads, just like the Core i7-12700K. The processor also gets a 25MB L3 cache. This CPU should also have a clock speed of 2.1GHz and a boost clock of 4.8GHz. The respective retailer also reported that the CPU is already available, while Intel has yet to officially announce it. The online store is not showing the sale price yet.

Intel released its first Alder Lake processors in early November. Then it came to the higher positioned K and KF models, in combination with the Z690 chipset. It’s not yet confirmed when non-K models will follow, but Intel may announce it at CES in January. Momomo_us claims that the CPUs will be released in mid-January.
